The mission of the Foundation is to disseminate knowledge on the adverse effects of drug use on individual’s, family and society and to break the taboos that exist around drug use and enable people to reach out for help. The Foundation aims to play a role of a catalyst for the youth and the communities they live in, by engaging federal and provincial governments to take up the task through policy making on drug production, prevention and use.
Karim Khan Afridi Welfare Foundation (KKAWF) was launched in June, 2015 in Islamabad after Mrs. Cristina Von Sperling Afridi and Ambassador (Retd.) Tariq Khan Afridi lost their son in 2014, and it became their inspiration and a motivational force to engage and facilitate the youth in protecting their lives that are vulnerable to the dangers of drug abuse.
KKAWF is one of the best organizations, with a zeal and passion for creating Drug Awareness among the Youth of Pakistan. It also established some actually beneficial Projects in education for the youth to create actual physical activities among the Youth of Pakistan.
